Due to urbanisation, storms cause more flooding in cities than in rural areas. Urban landscape retain less storm water than rural areas, making our cities hotter, thus exacerbating the adverse effects of heatwaves. This workshop looks at Earth’s sustainability future, providing a scientific understanding of how stormwater run-off in urban areas may be recycled for community use, and address the stated problem. No prior knowledge is required or assumed.
