Understanding Assignments and Grades

Life at University is new and exciting, it’s like stepping into a different world with a completely different culture.

As a new student, you may be thinking about the following:

• What do lecturers want from students?
• What is involved in writing assignments at Flinders?
• What do terms like GPA, WIL, HD, Census and many others mean?
• How different will exams and assignments will be from the ones I had in school, and what out exactly do I need to do?
