Starting your own Creative Arts Business

Do you know your art, but need help with the business side of things? Join us for an intensive workshop where you will develop your business idea, turning it into an actionable plan. You will gain the knowledge you need to start making money from your art.

The workshop will cover:

–              Planning tools – Business Canvas, Business plan, S.W.O.T.

–              The money stuff – Budgeting, Accounting, Rates, Quoting, Invoicing

–              The acronyms – ABN, ACN, GST, PAYG…

–              Things we don’t like to talk about – Legal entity, Insurance, Workcover, Super

–              Building your portfolio – Content and Branding

–              Being found online – Socials, Website, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

–              How to find paid work – and what to do next (after this workshop)
