Event Details

The second Wells Annual Lecture will be held on the 18th of October 2019. Our guest presenter for the event is Professor Anusuya Chinsamy-Turan, a palaeobiologist in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Cape Town. Her research on the microscopic structure of bones for both extant and extinct taxa has placed her as a world expert on this topic. Professor Anusuya has published extensively, both papers and books, as well as having been recognised by several highly acclaimed awards.

Following the lecture will be celebratory event, celebrating palaeontology at Flinders University. The event will provide food and entertainment, including a short, QI inspired, live palaeontology game show. All funds from the night will go towards the James Moore Memorial Prize in Palaeontology.
