Event Details

Event postponed until late November/early December date to be advised.

In line with Federal Government and Australia’s Chief Medical Officer’s advice in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic and the regulations around travel into Australia at this time, Flinders University has made the decision to postpone this event scheduled for 30 April.

Flinders’ top priority is student, staff and the community’s health and safety, and we will continue to follow Federal and State authority advice regarding this pandemic to keep our community safe. We will get in touch when a new date is scheduled for the book launch of The Spectrum of Teaching Styles in Physical Education.

Please look after yourselves and visit our dedicated staff and student webpages for updated information on COVID-19 and Flinders University’s response.

Book Launch The Spectrum of Teaching Styles in Physical Education published by Routledge

The Spectrum of Teaching Styles is one of the enduring concepts of physical education, with applicability to any area of teaching. The seminal text explaining The Spectrum of Teaching Styles was first released in 1966, and has been available continuously since, now in edition 6.  The Spectrum of Teaching Styles in Physical Education is the first in-depth, practice-focused book to explain ‘spectrum theory’ and its application in physical education and sports coaching.
