In conjunction with Nan Goldin: the ballad of sexual dependency, Flinders University Museum of Art and the National Gallery of Australia present a free screening of All the Beauty and the Bloodshed. Directed by award-winning filmmaker Laura Poitras, the documentary is an epic, emotional and interconnected story about internationally renowned artist and activist Nan Goldin told through her slideshows, intimate interviews, ground-breaking photography, and rare footage of her personal fight to hold the Sackler family accountable for the opioid crisis.

Nan Goldin: the ballad of sexual dependency is open to the public 16 February – 10 April 2026 and is a National Gallery Touring Exhibition presented as part of the Bowness Family Foundation Photography Touring Program.

This screening is restricted to adults 18 years and older.
