We are delighted to confirm that Flinders University graduate, 2018 Distinguished Alumni Award recipient and joint 2019 Australian of the Year, Dr Richard Harris SC OAM (BMBS ’89) will be the guest speaker at the 2019 Investigator Lecture.
Final details for the event are still in development and formal registrations are not yet open. However, you are able to register your interest for the event at the link below and you will then receive pre-notification of the registrations opening ahead of anyone else.
The Investigator Lecture is an important part of Flinders University’s public education program and contribution to the cultural life of South Australia. The Investigator Lecture was first given in 1979 and past speakers have included: Dr Brian Schmidt (2011 Nobel Laureate in Physics); Lech Walesa, Former President of Poland and Nobel Peace Laureate; Posie Graeme-Evans; Dr Anne Summers and; Geoffrey Robertson QC.
For your information, formal registrations will open in early July. Please note, at this stage we are only taking expressions of interest to attend the event and you will have to formally register when you receive the official invitation email.
