" ...aboriginal natives shall not be counted... "

Legal and societal change

fifty years on from the 1967 referendum

presented by Justice Darryl Rangiah

Fifty years on from the 1967 referendum, we wonder how society could have tolerated such injustice against Indigenous Australians for so long. But will our society be judged as any better in 20, 30 or 50 years time? What will be seen as the injustices of our time? Identifying the problems is not enough. What are the solutions?
